Stockfest is a football tournament aimed at supporters of clubs all over the UK. Hosted by Animo et Fide FC, the Stockport County fans team, the tournament takes place on Sunday 18th May 2008 with 8 IFA (Internet Football Association) teams competing for the Richard Harnwell Memorial Trophy.
Richard Harnwell sadly passed away in 2005 after a long battle against MS. Richard was an fanatic Stockport county supporter who became famous for his Stockport County match day video commentaries.
ALL proceeds from the tournament will be donated to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The venue is Manor Farm which is the Stockport County Training Ground, with the tournament taking place on two pitches between 10am and 3pm.
2007 was the inaugural year for Stockfest but it is hoped we can build on what we achieved last year, raising even more money for charity.
